In the framework of the German Presidency in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, a conference under the motto “Strong Regional Cooperation and Strong Youth Participation for a Stronger Europe” will address the pivotal roles which regional cooperation and youth participation play for building a stronger Europe. By presenting and elaborating on the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) as a good example of interregional cooperation as well as by discussing the work of the Council of Europe towards youth participation on local and regional levels, the conference aims at identifying best practices and aspects which can and should be developed further, trying to interconnect the topics of regional cooperation and youth participation. The results of the event will be integrated into the work of the German Delegation to the Congress of the Council of Europe.

Further information as well as the programme of the conference will be sent in due time.
